The right to one's own face and voice is being written into law, while creative exemptions are preserved.
According to Euronews, the bill amends copyright law so that ordinary people and artists can defend themselves against realistic fakes made without their consent; satire, parody and criticism of those in power are exempt. Culture Minister Zenia Stampe, according to the outlet, expects the law to take effect at the start of 2027.
