Human evaluation of models has become a separate, expensive business, and it now helps decide which model counts as the best.
According to Bloomberg, the round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures, with Salesforce Ventures and Dell Technologies Capital participating. In January the company was valued at $1.7 billion. According to the same source, the money will go in part toward measuring the safety and risks of models.
