The chatbot is turning from a conversation partner into a builder: an answer can now be touched, not just read.
OpenAI has begun rolling out GPT-6 in ChatGPT in two versions: GPT-6 Sol goes immediately to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise subscribers, and GPT-6 Luna to free and Go users the next day (per 9to5Mac). It comes with Intelligent UI: instead of plain text, an answer can include graphics, buttons, forms, charts and mini-apps such as calculators, bill splitters and games; comparisons appear side by side and simple answers stay as text. According to 9to5Mac, GPT-6 can start answering while it keeps thinking and add to the answer as it goes. The amount of visual elements can be reduced. TechCrunch notes that OpenAI gave no figures on quality or reach.
