Nebius buys Israeli startup Inferize, which eliminates GPU idle time when launching SI models

The fight for every idle GPU continues: the more efficiently hardware is used, the cheaper an SI answer gets.
The price was not officially disclosed; CTech estimates the deal at $100–150 million. Inferize is a ten-month-old, 17-person Tel Aviv startup founded in early 2026 by former Granulate co-founders Guy Bortnikov and Lior Gorbonov. It tackles the "cold start" problem: while model weights load into memory, GPUs sit idle, and keeping spares is expensive. The technology allows capacity to scale to real demand; according to GuruFocus, it is being integrated into the Nebius Token Factory platform.
