Nearly two dozen SI agents that live in SMS and iMessage: TechCrunch compiles a roundup from family assistants to travel agents

Prepared by Sintelligent with the help of SI. Publication time restored from the build log. . Updated: .

The SI assistant is ceasing to be a separate app: it lives where people are already messaging.

TechCrunch's selection includes general-purpose assistants (Martin, Folk, Instinct, Iris), family ones (Fambot, Ohai, Ollie) and narrow ones such as the travel agent Miso. The common scheme: tasks are set with an ordinary message in iMessage, SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram, and the agent manages the calendar, reminders and correspondence. The outlet calls Instinct the biggest by funding, with a $10 billion valuation; prices for the others range from $9.99 to $25 a month.
