One model replaces an entire chain of algorithms.
The model itself analyzes the user's choices (what they picked, rejected, and came back to), selects content and ranks it: the whole cycle of a recommender system instead of a cascade of separate algorithms. Yandex calls it the first such model; music listening grew by 6.3%.
