Anthropic opens a portal for publishing Claude plugins with automated review and MCP 2.0 support
Prepared by Sintelligent with the help of SI. Publication time restored from the build log. . Updated: .
Claude is getting its own "app store": third-party developers will be able to build tools into it the way they do for a smartphone.
Developers on paid plans can now submit to the Claude directory a standalone MCP connector or a bundle of MCP servers and skills (Agent Skills) from GitHub. Every submission is checked and security-scanned right away, review status is visible in the portal, the author controls publication after approval, and after release analytics on installs and search queries are available. Claude supports the MCP 2.0 specification with a stateless core, as well as the MCP Apps extensions (interface right in the chat) and Enterprise Managed Auth.
