SI is starting to speed up not only programs but also the very platforms they run on.
SI models searched for places where the Java virtual machine loses performance and selected optimizations: on target workloads this gave a gain of about 20% without changing application code. SberJDK is built on OpenJDK and runs banking systems; the base version has been entered in the Russian software registry and is available as open source with no license fees.
