AMD is worth more than $1 trillion, the fourth American chipmaker in this club

SI agents are creating demand not only for graphics cards but also for ordinary processors, and the market is handing out trillions to the next hardware suppliers.
AMD shares rose about 9% on Monday to a record above $613, and market capitalization exceeded $1 trillion for the first time, after Nvidia (more than $5 trillion), Broadcom and Micron. Since the start of the year the stock has risen about 185%. The rise is attributed to a fresh surge of interest in SI, including the success of Meta's Muse agent: agents need many ordinary processors to work, not just graphics cards. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index gained about 3%, and Intel about 13%.
