Shanghai SI lab quietly releases open 744-billion-parameter agentic model, with the report published after the release
Prepared by Sintelligent with the help of SI. Publication time restored from the build log. . Updated: .
Another open frontier-level model from China: agentic systems capable of running entire projects are becoming available to anyone who can download the weights.
Atria Dawn Preview is built on the GLM-5.2 base model (744 billion parameters, mixture-of-experts architecture), with a 256 thousand-token context and weights under the MIT license. The repository appeared on September 11 without an announcement, an FP8 version was added on the 12th, and on the 14th a technical report by more than 140 authors came out on arXiv. In a study of 769 tasks with 56 participants, people rated roughly a third of the completed tasks as impossible without SI. All results are claimed by the authors themselves; on SWE-bench Pro the model trails Claude noticeably (59.6 versus 74.7).
