Moonshot expects to reach $2 billion in annualized revenue by the end of the year, twice the August level. The K3 model processes about 300 billion tokens a day on OpenRouter, although usage has dipped slightly in recent months. Open weights mean far lower margins for Moonshot than for closed competitors (Anthropic is at about $65 billion annualized); the day before, Anthropic accused the company of siphoning off 23 million Claude responses.
