Claude Commerce Agents, under the Apache 2.0 license, includes two reference agents: a shopper agent that searches for and compares products in the store's app and builds a basket, and a merchant agent for inventory, pricing and marketing. There are four ready-made examples: retail, travel, telecom and entertainment. According to Anthropic, at ten companies that adopted the templates (among them Shopify, Priceline, Visa, Mastercard), the average basket grew 35% and the share of completed purchases grew 60%.
